Why Silk Route & Zuluk?
The Old Silk Route of East Sikkim — from Rongli up through Lingtam, Aritar and Zuluk to Thambi View Point at 3,430m — is one of the most photographed mountain drives in India. Thirty-two hairpin bends stacked like a zigzag ladder on a bare hillside, Mount Kanchenjunga to your west, the plains of North Bengal far below. An offbeat week that ends at Nathang Valley and the Tsomgo Lake road back to Gangtok.
