Pelling
Kanchenjunga, Up Close
Ground notes
Why Pelling?
Pelling, at 2,150m in West Sikkim, is the cleanest, closest view of Kanchenjunga you will get without trekking. The whole town essentially faces the mountain. Use it as a base for Pemayangtse and Sangachoeling — the two oldest monasteries in Sikkim — and for the glass-bottom Skywalk at Chenrezig.
