Why Ravangla & Namchi?
Ravangla (2,100m) and Namchi (1,675m) are the twin cultural hearts of South Sikkim. Ravangla's Buddha Park has a 130-foot statue of the Buddha set against the entire Kanchenjunga range. Namchi's Samdruptse houses a 118-foot Guru Padmasambhava and the Siddhesvara Dham — miniature replicas of India's four holy sites. Quieter, warmer and less permitted than the north, South Sikkim is a soft way in.
