Dzongri
Half the Days, All the Peaks
Ground notes
Why Dzongri?
The Dzongri trek is the first half of the classic Goechala route — Yuksom to Sachen to Tshoka to Dzongri Top at 4,200m. Seven days instead of ten, but still a full Himalayan panorama at Dzongri Top: Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Kabru, Rathong, Talung and Frey's Peak all from a single grassy ridge. The right trek for travellers with less time but full hunger.
