Why Tonglu & Tumling?

Tonglu (3,070m) and Tumling (2,970m) are the first two high camps on the Singalila ridge trek, reachable in two days from Manebhanjan. They offer the same four-peak panorama — Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu — in a shorter window that suits trekkers without a full week. Tumling straddles the India-Nepal border; the tea-house on the Nepal side serves dal bhat with an Everest view.
